The new multi-parameter transmitter with ISM
ability.
The M400 transmitter series features advanced ISM
technology and covers pH /ORP, pH ISFET, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and
conductivity - inductive as well as 2-E and 4-E - measurements . Thanks to the
mixed-mode input functionality, the M400 accepts any conventional (analog) or
ISM sensor of your choice. Combined with its multi-parameter capabilities, the
M400 is the state-of-the-art transmitter for your most demanding applications.
The M400 is a single-channel, multi-parameter unit. The same unit can
handle different parameters such as pH/ORP, pH ISFET, oxygen, carbon dioxide or
conductivity - inductive as well as 2-E and 4-E - , depending on the type you
choose.

pH-/Redox
Electrodes with Gel, Liquid and Polymer Electrolyte

Highly versatile and with long life time.
METTLER TOLEDO pH/Redox
electrodes with gel- or liquid-type electrolyte or solid polymer (XEROLYT®)
reference system, all with open junction, obviate the need to pressurize the
electrode through the housing. The gel electrode is pre-pressurized and the
polymer reference system is (process) pressure-resistant. These types of
electrode cannot be refilled and therefore require reduced
maintenance.
They are widely used for routine measurements, particularly
in applications involving media with a high fouling potential. Many models
enable temperature-compensated measurements and enhanced sensor
diagnostics.
Some pH-electrodes with integrated ISM functionality
(Intelligent Sensor Management) allow "Plug and Measure" and advanced
diagnostics.
Cleaning and
Calibration Systems
Automated cleaning systems for cleaning of electrodes and sensors
during an ongoing process without interruptions is gaining even wider
acceptance in the industry. There are clear benefits from the inclusion of
cleaning systems in processes with heavily contaminating media and in such
which run continuously over longer periods.
Manpower for maintenance
work is reduced and electrodes and sensors have a proven longer operating life.
With the addition of a calibration feature, such automated systems
substantially enhance process control and process safety. Modularity of the
system series allows subsequent on-site upgrading of selected models to include
features such as automated calibration. The functions can be triggered either
automatically (programmable) or manually as may be necessary.

Intelligent Sensor Management
reduces the installation, maintenance, and calibration effort for the new
digital sensors to a minimum. This considerably improves process reliability,
productivity, and system availability.
Intelligent pH Electrodes and
Dissolved Oxygen Sensors The new digital sensors with ISM® (Intelligent
Sensor Management) technology are equipped with an integrated chip in the
sensor head that stores all relevant sensor parameters and algorithms for
enhanced sensor diagnostics.
